Four reasons compliance can't wait

What happens without DIWASS today

🚫

Your truck stays at the gate

For Orange List (Annex IA/IB) hazardous shipments, a valid DIWASS notification before departure has been mandatory since May 21, 2026. No paper fallback. Authorities use live plate recognition - no notification, no departure.

⚖️

Criminal liability exposure

January 2026 legislative proposal links repeated EVOA violations to the Environmental Crime Directive. Administrative errors can become criminal offences.

📉

Lost contracts

Shippers can only select DIWASS-registered carriers. If you're not in the system, you're off the shortlist. Competitors who registered first take your slots.

🚫

Chain collapse

One unregistered party stops the entire chain. Your own registration isn't enough - every carrier and processor you work with must also be active in DIWASS.

Evreka vs the alternatives

Standalone form tools cover document submission only. The DIWASS portal requires manual entry for every update. Only Evreka covers the full cycle - registration, documents, status automation, chain verification, and completion certificates - in one integration.

Quick answers

Common questions

For Orange List (hazardous) waste, since May 21, 2026 no cross-border transport is legal without a valid DIWASS notification in place. Enforcement authorities use live database checks - not paper. A missing notification means the transport is classified as illegal waste. The carrier is fined first. There is zero grace period. Green List (Annex VII) is in a transitional period until December 31, 2026, with full digital enforcement from January 1, 2027 - but registration is required now regardless of waste type.
For occasional shipments (monthly or less), the government web portal may be sufficient. For any company with weekly cross-border flows, API integration is operationally necessary - the portal requires double data entry, manual status monitoring, and no automatic sync with your internal records. Evreka covers both paths.
Wasteform is Evreka's EU waste document product. It covers all European waste transport documentation - Begeleidingsbrief (NL), e-IDF (Belgium), German Begleitschein, Annex VII (Green List cross-border), Annex IA and IB (Orange List notifications and movement documents) - all with DIWASS integration built in.
Yes. We handle account creation, EU Login, eHerkenning verification (NL), API client setup, and chain partner DIWASS ID verification - everything needed to be operationally live and compliant.
Registration and onboarding: 1–2 weeks. Wasteform platform: 2–4 weeks. ERP integration: 4–8 weeks. Custom development: scope-dependent. All timelines include a testing phase against the DIWASS sandbox environment.
Three reasons. (1) DIWASS registration is required now for all parties regardless of waste type - without it, you cannot be named in any digital chain. (2) The transitional arrangement runs only until December 31, 2026. Full digital enforcement for Annex VII applies from January 1, 2027. Acting now avoids the year-end rush. (3) Your chain partners handling Orange List shipments are already operating digitally - and they'll expect registered partners on their Annex VII flows too.
