Birle\u015fmi\u015f Milletler G\u0131da ve Tar\u0131m \u00d6rg\u00fct\u00fc (FAO) de g\u0131da israf\u0131n\u0131n (bal\u0131k ve deniz \u00fcr\u00fcnleri hari\u00e7) k\u00fcresel ekonomiye y\u0131lda yakla\u015f\u0131k 750 milyar ABD dolar\u0131 maliyet getirdi\u011fini belirtiyor. Di\u011fer \u00f6nemli veriler \u015f\u00f6yle:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Her y\u0131l 1,4 milyar hektar arazi, yani d\u00fcnyadaki tar\u0131m alan\u0131n\u0131n y\u00fczde 28&#8217;i, kaybolan veya israf edilen g\u0131day\u0131 \u00fcretmek i\u00e7in kullan\u0131l\u0131yor.<\/li>\n<li>G\u0131da israf edildi\u011finde \u00fcretiminde kullan\u0131lan sulama suyu, ekim arazisi, hasat ve nakliye ara\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131n yak\u0131t\u0131 gibi do\u011fal kaynaklar da bo\u015fa gidiyor.<\/li>\n<li>Bu gidi\u015fle on y\u0131l i\u00e7inde d\u00fcnya genelinde saniyede 66 ton g\u0131daya denk bir israf ya\u015fanaca\u011f\u0131 tahmin ediliyor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Belki de en y\u0131k\u0131c\u0131 sonu\u00e7 \u015fu: \u00e7\u00f6pe at\u0131lan g\u0131da depolama alanlar\u0131nda \u00e7\u00fcr\u00fcrken, karbondioksitten en az 28 kat daha g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc bir sera gaz\u0131 olan metan a\u00e7\u0131\u011fa \u00e7\u0131k\u0131yor. Miktar olarak en \u00e7ok sal\u0131nan sera gaz\u0131 karbondioksit olsa da toplam sera gaz\u0131 emisyonlar\u0131n\u0131n yakla\u015f\u0131k y\u00fczde 20&#8217;sini metan olu\u015fturuyor.<\/p>\n<h2>Yaz\u0131l\u0131m neden fark yarat\u0131r?<\/h2>\n<p>G\u0131da israf\u0131 ancak t\u00fcketicilerin, perakendecilerin ve g\u0131da zincirindeki di\u011fer taraflar\u0131n davran\u0131\u015flar\u0131n\u0131n sonu\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131 fark etmesiyle azalt\u0131labilir.
